I love how Joel embraces his authenticity and is true to himself and his passions. Often in life and especially in this industry we can at times feel we have to emulate or be someone else or an ideal. Joel throughout his career has stuck to what makes him happy and what brings joy. He knows what he’s about and is not afraid to stick to his guns despite potential backlash or public scrutiny. I love this because despite the negativity Joel has faced, he has refused to give in or be defeated by this and has carved a brilliant and inspiring career. It is also great he is able to look back at the challenges and trolls and laugh at them.
