I love how Chris talks about how he received an opportunity and how it was perhaps perceived in a more negative light, however Chris took it upon himself to embrace the opportunity and make it the best experience he could. This is a great lesson for me, because often people in our lives can give us information or tell us things that may not necessarily ring true to us. Chris is the perfect example of regardless what experience you have, you have the ability to flick the switch and make it your own.
