I love how Pierre talks about his book and how despite having a wonderful team to help him with it, the responsibility to make it great ultimately falls on him. Pierre reminds us to take ownership, we can still lean on others for help but they will never have the same skin in the game as you. I find this really empowering because sometimes we can disempower ourselves and outsource. Pierre reminds us that when you’re the face of the project or brand it is up to us to take ownership and control of our destiny.
Another point which I love, is that Pierre encourages us to find our clown – in that accept and embrace who you are, lean into it and use it for your advantage.
