We chat about the creativity, loss of his businesses and the toll it took, his love of creating, crazy macaroons flavours, stress and cooking, getting on TV & MasterChef, tailored needs of the school system plus plenty more!

I appreciate Adriano’s honesty and reflections, especially when he discusses the mental hardship of losing his business. Like us all, we have all had moments where it can be challenging to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Adriano breaks it down and explains that even if we move one millimetre a day, that’s one step forward and creates a better positive result for us in the long term.
This links perfectly to the old saying/ idiom, ‘one step at a time’ where it can be of value to focus on what’s right in front of you, no matter how small the step we take is. By doing so we can avoid overwhelm, celebrate the progress, build momentum and get out of our own way.
Adriano gives great examples of what one can do during these times, such as something super simple, like researching, creating or watching an important video, exercise, getting out of the house – the more we do these micro steps the quicker and easier it becomes to build back up and hopefully better and stronger than before. As he says, there is always a way, you just have to find it.

“One step at a time. Baby steps are still steps. Crawl if you must, but keep moving forward. You will never be defeated as long as you keep moving.”-Toni Sorenson
