Michael Kahan
Michael Kahan is the creator and host of the Funny in Failure podcast, one of the world's leading long-form conversation podcasts, with more than 350 episodes featuring some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Each week, he sits down with actors, comedians, writers, musicians, directors, athletes and creators for funny, honest conversations about the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
A former accountant (not a particularly good one), Michael later studied improv comedy, kinesiology and screenwriting, finding his way into podcasting and the world of entertainment. Today, he's a screenwriter and podcast host. He has also moderated An Evening with Phil Rosenthal (creator of Everybody Loves Raymond and star of Somebody Feed Phil) at Melbourne's iconic Palais Theatre.
Michael also contributed podcast footage to Pamela Hayden's award-winning documentary and made an appearance in one of Darren Levy's viral Funny Uber videos, although Darren kindly blurred Michael's face. Michael has also had minor acting roles.
